Plastiline - High-Precision Modelling Clay
Plastiline is a non-toxic and high-precision modelling clay. The accuracy of reproduction is within 1/10th of a millimetre. Plastiline is renowned for its excellent hold and keeps its volume.
It can be used for the research and creation of models in sculpture, the production of decorations and the manufacture of moulds, the restoration of works of art and decoration, and, in industry, taking impressions and making prototypes. As you go, details can be changed, added or removed. With Plastiline, no connections are visible and from your model, you can achieve a definitive work in resin.
The cinema, theatre and furniture industries are all using Plastiline to create scenes and characters. It is ideal for reproducing simple objects in relief. Compatible with all silicone rubbers.
Moulding with Plastiline
Using Plastiline for your moulding process will avoid the inhibition phenomena and pollution of elastomers that are sensitive to metals and some plastics.
Working with Plastiline
Soft Plastiline is easily workable with fingers or the sculptor’s usual tool and can be used for preliminary modelling work.
Detailing with Plastiline
Hard Plastiline requires the use of roughing tools, chisels and shaping knives. The increase in hardness allows for greater detail in work.
